About 50 restaurants now line the 2 km coastal road that leads north to Pereybère, once a simple fishing village! This area is appreciated by lovers of authenticity who nevertheless wish to remain close to all the conveniences of modern life. Less touristy than Grand Bay, Pereybère remains a practical village, but also pleasant because of its warm summer climate and mild winters.
Here again, authenticity is the name of the game! Calodyne is ideal if you are looking for a property with a sea view, close to the squares and amenities. Located near Grand Bay, Calodyne is only 15 minutes from international schools and 30 minutes from Port Louis, the capital.
Mont Choisy is a village in full development. With many amenities, white sandy beaches and a golf course. Indeed, Mont Choisy’s vocation is to address the amateurs of high-end real estate, through numerous projects already developed, under development and to come.
We are no longer in year-round tourism, but in a preserved, dreamlike setting. Famous for its church “Notre Dame Auxiliatrice”, this village is close to the sea and many nautical activities.
Trou aux Biches
Its two-kilometer long white sandy beach is rightly considered one of the most beautiful in Mauritius, so much so that it was named “World’s Leading Beach Destination” at the World Travel Award in 2011. Trou aux Biches is a lively village, but is able to offer a calm living environment depending on the area where you are. With all the necessary amenities for daily life, the village is modern and warm at the same time.
